Required Skills:
Network Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Work cross-functionally to design, plan, deploy, and manage wired and wireless network infrastructure in labs
2. Perform network maintenance including hardware and software upgrades, migrations, capacity upgrades, and decommissioning
3. Perform hands-on troubleshooting, issue, and problem resolution.
4. Leveraging packet captures and working with tools like WireShark to root cause network related issues
5. Provide support and consultation to internal teams who utilize wired and wireless network infrastructure to test and validate new products
6. Proactively contribute to and maintain technical and training documentation
7. Collaborate across multi-functional groups and have the ability to learn and adapt to changing requirements
8. Create MOPs for vendors to execute standard wireline and wireless network operational tasks
9. Work cross-functionally with partners, project managers, network, software, and hardware engineers to validate equipment, software, and develop network solutions to meet test needs.
10. 10% Domestic Travel Required.

11. Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or a related occupation
12. Experience must include 4 years in the following:
13. 1. Extensive experience in IPv4 and IPv6 networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, and infrastructure cabling
14. 2. Working in a multi-vendor environment with hands-on experience with backhaul, and IP networking hardware
15. 3. physical infrastructure design including structured cabling and space
16. 4. Gathering infrastructure requirements, developing architecture and solutions for the build out of labs for Meta engineering teams
17. 5. Working with code repositories and config templates for zero touch provisioning (ZTP) of network infra
18. 6. Coding/scripting languages such as Python, shell scripting along with knowledge in code repository solutions
19. 7. Working in a global team environment
Public Compensation:
$195,274/year to $218,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits
