    Job Summary Job Summary

    Under supervision of the site administrator or designee, the Community Liaison – Bilingual establishes communication with parents and families of participating students. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with individuals, community groups, public and private family support and social service agencies in planning, receiving and providing needed community referrals; provides required translation and interpretation services for the school as requested. When assigned to the preschool program assists parents in enrolling new students, explaining program, attendance policies, and obtaining student and parent related information.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    There will be an application screening for the position to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied. We will email you via www.edjoin.org to advise you if you may participate in the written and/or performance exam. All candidates will be required to provide a photo ID with their signature.

     

    If you pass the written and/or performance exam, you may be scheduled to participate in the Oral/Technical Exam. Candidates must pass each portion of the exam in order to proceed in the recruitment and be placed on the eligibility list.

     

    The eligibility list for this recruitment will be valid for one year.

    Types of Exams and Tentative Dates

    OVSD tests on Wednesdays. Once you have applied, it has been determined that your application is complete, and you have met the minimum qualifications, you will receive an invitation to test via email with the date of the exam.
