    Responsibilities

    We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Specialty Clinic Nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialized clinical setting. You will collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure quality care for patients with specific medical needs, while promoting patient safety and comfort.

     

    + Provide direct care to patients, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.

    + Assist physicians during exams, procedures, and diagnostic tests.

    + Educate patients on their conditions, treatments, and self-care.

    + Document patient interactions and care in the EHR system.

    + Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and ensure a safe environment.

    + Support patient flow, including scheduling and follow-ups.

    + Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

    Qualifications

    + Current RN license in IOWA

    + 1+ years of clinical experience (outpatient/primary care preferred)

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + BLS certification (ACLS a plus)/Mandatory reporter

    + Strong communication and patient care skills

    + Comfortable with EHR systems and multitasking

    + Ability to lift and assist patients as needed

    + Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
