    Job Overview

     

    Fairview Urgent Care Centers provide convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends. Advance Practice Providers working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury. All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices. Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at M Health Fairview urgent care centers and at other M Health Fairview clinics in the metro area. Hours vary by site. Volume fluctuates seasonally.

    + Andover

    + Brooklyn Park

    + Bloomington

    + Eagan

    + Edina

    + St. Paul

    + Lakeville

    + North Branch

    + Maplewood

    + Woodbury

    + River Falls, WI

    Qualifications:

    + Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

    + BC/BE through NCCPA

    + Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice

    + Ability to obain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota

    + Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).

    + _Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients._

    + _At least 1-2 years urgent care or clinic experience as an APP._ **_Internal, Fairview employed providers only at this time._**

    + _Skills required - suturing, splinting, I and D._
