What we want
We are seeking Senior Utilities Maintenance Technician who will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery as directed. Performs highly skilled maintenance on industrial mechanical systems and executes work assignments safely and efficiently in such a manner as to restore or improve the reliability of the equipment being maintained.
Ways to contribute
Maintenance and Repair of Industrial Equipment
+ Performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and repair on various types of industrial equipment, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, valves, etc.
+ Diagnoses malfunctions through root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
+ Make repairs to chemical storage, transfer, and injection systems.
+ Perform shaft alignments and maintain various mechanical components.
Collaboration and Compliance
+ Work closely with staff to maintain fuel gas delivery system management plans and ensures compliance with requirements.
+ Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, materials requisitions, and manpower requirements for corrective maintenance work.
Equipment Operation and Material Handling
+ Move and lift heavy loads using cranes and hoists once qualified
+ Accurately acquire and record vibration information on various equipment.
+ Fits and welds piping and structural steel; brazes and solders connections.
Safety and Housekeeping
+ Perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
+ Performs general housekeeping to ensure that the work site is kept clean.
+ Ensure that all tools and materials are properly stored between workdays.
+ Actively participate in skill development as directed and per individual development plan.
What you need to know
Pay Range – $24.11-$26.52/hr

This position is located in College Station, TX. Remote/Work from alternate location is not available at this time.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 5 years of maintenance experience on industrial equipment.
Required Licenses and Certifications
+ Valid drivers license.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities
+ Responsible for performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
