Job Summary and Responsibilities

What you'll do:

+ Operates high-pressure boilers.

+ Operates chillers and absorbers.

+ Compiles water treatment reports.

+ Performs maintenance on boilers, chillers, pumps, steam pipes, and related machinery.

+ Operates automated building control computer and makes corrections as required.

+ Operates/adjusts air handling equipment.

+ Performs preventive maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.

+ Performs routine inspections of mechanical rooms.

+ Performs building maintenance.

+ Maintains established department policies, procedures and objectives, concerning quality assurance, safety, environmental conditions and infection control.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

+ One (1) year of electro-mechanical experience and good knowledge of hand tools.

+ High School graduate or equivalent.

+ Must have the ability to analyze electro-mechanical problems and determine repairs needed; must have the ability to perform repairs after needs are determined.

+ 3 rd grade stationary engineer

+ Valid Driver's License.

St. Elizabeth specializes in the treatment areas of newborn and pediatric care, women’s health, burn and wound, cardiology, oncology, emergency medicine, orthopedics and neuroscience.

Pay Range

$22.51 - $31.79 /hour
