Job Summary and Responsibilities
+ The technologist is primarily responsible for performing mammography studies.
+ Assist physicians with interventional imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
+ Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality obtaining additional images as needed.
+ Communicates effectively with patients and their families about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain information and to offer reassurance.
+ Perform the quality control functions related to mammography.
Job Requirements
+ Completion of Accredited Radiology program
+ (2) Two years of imaging experience
+ ARRT(R), ARRT(M)
+ MRT - TX
+ BLS-CPR Card

Pay Range
$27.97 - $41.60 /hour
