Spectrolab, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company’s Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business unit has an exciting opportunity for an **Associate Production/Inventory Coordinator (Level 2)** to join our dynamic team in **Sylmar, California** .

Spectrolab is the world’s leading merchant supplier of the highest efficiency multijunction solar cells for spacecraft power systems, with proven reliability drawn from 65 years of space heritage. Spectrolab’s state-of-the-art space solar cells and panels power satellites in Earth’s orbit, as well as the International Space Station.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions

+ Monitors work in process

+ Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability

+ Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes

+ Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays

+ Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

**This position is for 2nd shift** (2:00 PM until 11:30 PM) **,** **h** **owever, candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required. Note:** for training purposes, the first 3 months are typically on 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment

+ Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 and/or 9 hour shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

+ Experience with inventory, stocking, and cycle counting

+ Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project

+ Experience using SAP

Typical Education/Experience:

High School diploma/GED and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Education (e.g. Vocational, Associate, Bachelor, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $42,500 - $52,500
