    Purpose

    We seek a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive our Strategic Technical Operations initiatives. This role will lead complex technical programs, establish rhythm of business processes, and implement AI solutions to optimize operations and drive business outcomes.

    Our Strategic Technical Operations team faces increasing complexity in technical program delivery while managing critical business processes. We need a skilled TPM who can navigate this complexity, establish consistent operational cadences, and leverage AI to transform how we deliver results.

    Role Overview

    As a Technical Program Manager for Strategic Technical Operations, you will lead cross-functional technical programs that directly impact our operational efficiency and business outcomes. You will establish and maintain rhythm of business processes that ensure consistent delivery and accountability. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to implement AI solutions that automate routine tasks, provide predictive insights, and enhance decision-making capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Program Management

     

    Lead complex technical programs from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements

     

    Develop comprehensive program plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and success metrics

     

    Identify and manage risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure program success

     

    Drive technical decisions by facilitating discussions among stakeholders with competing priorities

     

    Communicate program status to leadership, highlighting risks, blockers, and required decisions

     

    Rhythm of Business Process Management

     

    Establish and maintain consistent operational cadences for planning, execution, and review

    Create feedback loops that enable continuous improvement of AI models

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

     

    5+ years of experience in technical program management

     

    Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical programs with multiple stakeholders

     

    Experience establishing and maintaining rhythm of business processes

     

    Knowledge of AI technologies and their practical applications

     

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

     

    Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of technical product or program management experience

     

    - 2+ years of software development experience

     

    - 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

     

    - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
