As a network technician, you will directly contribute to the trust and confidence in the nation's financial system through challenging work assignments and rewarding professional experiences.     Responsibilities

    + Apply the principles of network engineering to investigate, diagnose and resolve issues. Issues may involve all types of network connectivity including wired and wireless.

    + Follow network engineering principles and practices including TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and routing and switching technologies to become proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

    + Analyze business and technical requirements and implement network solutions.

    + Partner with customers in the development of networking solutions that enable them to achieve organizational goals.

    Qualifications

    + Associate degree specializing in Cisco networking, or a closely related field, from an accredited college, university, vocational school, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.

    + Experience with network design methodologies, architecture, and cabling.

    + Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    + Demonstrated technical skills in working with Cisco network switches

    + CCNA certification is nice to have.

    + Perform most work with general guidance and direction.

    + US Citizen or lawful permanent resident with three or more years of US residency

    Salary: $74,900-105,000
