    Associate General Counsel - Litigation

     

    This role is ideal for someone who thrives on meaningful courtroom experience, enjoys collaborating with colleagues, and wants to be part of a company with a long history of stability and growth. You’ll join a close-knit team of Associate General Counsels who share an active, diverse case load and who value teamwork, integrity, and practical problem-solving.

    What You’ll Do

    + Take the lead on managing litigation across the U.S., including products liability, tort, commercial, and employment matters.

    + Develop case strategies, draft and argue motions, conduct discovery and depositions, and prepare for trial.

    + Work closely with both internal stakeholders and outside counsel, ensuring strong, results-focused representation.

    + Travel as needed to attend key hearings, depositions, and trials.

    + Be a trusted advisor to leadership by providing clear, strategic legal guidance.

    What we are looking for:

    + A JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership.

    + 8+ years of litigation experience, ideally with both law firm and in-house exposure.

    + Solid background handling products liability, tort, commercial, and/or employment cases.

    + Trial preparation and courtroom experience.

    + Willingness to relocate to west central Ohio (this is an on-site, non-hybrid position).
