Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Montvale, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to manage critical financial processes, ensuring seamless cash flow and accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in accounts receivable functions and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and payment applications.

• Oversee cash application activities to ensure timely and accurate allocation of funds.

• Handle commercial collections by communicating with clients and resolving outstanding balances.

• Assist in the preparation and management of billing functions to maintain compliance and accuracy.

• Monitor daily cash activity to ensure proper reconciliation and reporting.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and streamline processes.

• Generate reports related to accounts receivable and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions in accordance with company policies.

• Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce errors in receivable processes.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.

• Strong knowledge of cash application and reconciliation practices.

• Ability to manage commercial collections with professionalism and efficiency.

• Familiarity with billing systems and compliance standards.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools.

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
