    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle in a high-volume environment, while also supporting legal invoice processing, employee expense reporting, fund rebills, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Accounts Payable Operations

     

    + Process a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and compliance

    + Ensure timely payments and maintain strong vendor relationships

    + Handle AP-related tax compliance (e.g., sales/use tax, VAT)

     

    Legal Invoice Management

     

    + Review and process legal invoices in accordance with engagement terms

    + Collaborate with legal and finance teams to resolve discrepancies

     

    Employee Expense Reporting

     

    + Oversee employee expense submissions for accuracy and policy compliance

    + Provide training and support on expense tools and procedures

     

    Fund Rebill Processing

     

    + Prepare and manage fund rebills for shared expenses across multiple entities

    + Ensure accurate allocations and proper documentation

     

    Financial Reporting Support

     

    + Assist with periodic financial reports, reconciliations, and audits

    + Compile data for internal reporting and investor-related needs

    + Partner with internal teams to streamline workflows and improve reporting

    Requirements

    What You Bring

     

    + 3–5 years of AP or accounting experience (venture capital, private equity, or professional services preferred)

    + Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing

    + Strong understanding of AP workflows, vendor management, and expense reporting

    + Familiarity with AP-related tax compliance (e.g., VAT, 1099s, sales/use tax)

    + Experience with fund rebills and intercompany allocations is a plus

    + Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, Concur, Expensify, and Excel

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
