Description

Our client, a rapidly expanding Hospitality organization, is currently looking for a Controller to lead and scale their accounting operations during this exciting phase of growth. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to build out the accounting function from the ground up and have a direct impact on the financial strength of the company.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Lead all corporate accounting activities including month-end close, financial reporting, and audits

• Manage third-party AP and sales tax vendors

• Oversee treasury and tax functions, ensuring full compliance with regulations

• Prepare internal and external financial statements and reports for leadership and investors

• Build and manage a high-performing accounting team

• Collaborate across departments to improve processes and ensure timely, accurate reporting

• Lead the company’s annual audit and manage cash flow and financial risk

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• CPA required

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ in a leadership role

• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial compliance expertise

• Proactive communicator and problem-solver with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
