    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Controller to lead financial operations and provide strategic guidance for our clients organization in the Stanislaus County. This role requires expertise in accounting, budgeting, compliance, and leadership to ensure the company’s financial health and efficiency.     Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management.

    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the executive team and monitor budget performance.

    • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

    • Mentor and manage the accounting team, fostering growth and accountability.

    • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making across operations, sales, and credit functions.

    • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and oversee customer credit approvals and collections.

    • Maintain strong banking relationships and support financing activities as needed.

    • Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

    • Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and operational efficiency through strategic initiatives.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

     

    • At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

    • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

    • Industry experience in equipment distribution, industrial services, or a similar field is preferred.

    • Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial systems, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

    • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

    • High integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining ethical standards.

    • Ability to develop and manage effective forecasting models for revenue, cash flow, and capital needs.
