Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role requires someone with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage financial data across multiple entities. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring expertise in corporate accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage journal entries and maintain accuracy in the general ledger.

• Perform corporate tax return filings and ensure compliance with sales tax regulations.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including formulas, VBA, and pivot tables, to analyze financial data.

• Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations and reports.

• Support budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data and reporting.

• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and financial integration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, VBA, and pivot tables.

• Experience handling corporate tax returns and sales tax compliance.

• Knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes.

• Ability to perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights.

• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes is preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills in fast-paced environments.

• Previous experience in multi-entity accounting is highly desirable.
