Job Title: Lead Cook

Job Description

The Senior Cook will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and special/catered events.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and cook a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and special events.

+ Ensure food is presented and served accurately and efficiently.

+ Assist with duties within the kitchen such as ingredient ordering, inventory, stocking, and leadership of kitchen staff.

+ Maintain excellent customer relations, particularly with an executive customer base at corporate headquarters.

Essential Skills

+ Experienced as a lead cook with strong culinary skills.

+ Excellent customer relations skills.

+ Serve Safe Certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working as a chef on the first shift.

Work Environment

The position is a temp-to-hire role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The work environment is focused on serving an executive customer base at corporate headquarters, requiring a professional approach and excellent customer service.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holly Springs, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.66 - $20.66/hr.
