    Job Description

    Join our team as a Stamping Press Operator in Norwood, OH. This is a direct placement position with opportunities across different shifts. Candidates should be prepared for an initial training period on the 1st Shift.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up the stamping press machine for operation.

    + Operate machines ranging from 35 to 400 tons.

    + Follow blueprints meticulously to ensure accuracy.

    + Stage finished products for the next phase of production.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

    + A minimum of 2 years of experience with stamping presses (excluding press brakes and spot welders).

    + Basic math skills for operational accuracy.

    + Physical ability to lift 35 lbs regularly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with blueprint reading and machine operation.

    Work Environment

     

    This position offers various shifts to suit your lifestyle. The 1st Shift operates from 6 am to 2:30 pm, the 2nd Shift from 3 pm to 1:30 am, and the 3rd Shift from 7 pm to 5:30 am. Training will occur on the 1st Shift for 6-8 weeks. The work environment prioritizes safety and cleanliness, with a dress code that includes appropriate safety gear.

    The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $53760.00/yr.
