    Job Title: Compounding Manager

    Job Description

    As a Compounding Manager, you will provide daily supervision, direction, and support to the Pre-Weigh staff. This role involves overseeing weighing, measuring, batching, processing, and documentation activities to ensure accuracy and consistency. You will maintain accurate and timely production records, batch documentation, and cleaning logs, ensuring their review and completion in compliance with quality standards. Managing scheduling, staffing, and workload distribution to meet production demands is also a key aspect of this position. Additionally, you will train, mentor, and coach employees to support ongoing skills development and cross-training.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and support Pre-Weigh staff on a daily basis.

    + Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP, and internal SOPs.

    + Oversee weighing, measuring, batching, processing, and documentation activities.

    + Maintain production records, batch documentation, and cleaning logs.

    + Manage scheduling, staffing, and workload distribution.

    + Train and mentor employees for skills development and cross-training.

    + Monitor inventory of raw materials and coordinate with Purchasing/Materials Management.

    + Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

    Essential Skills

    + 3–5 years of compounding experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

    + Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing is strongly preferred.

    + Comfortable performing hands-on compounding tasks.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with prolonged standing and walking.

    + Experience in GMP or FDA environments is strongly preferred.

    + Change over, preventative maintenance, and CIP experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in high-speed liquid fill is a plus.

    + Familiarity with blending, chemical handling, and raw material compounding.

    + Skills in lean manufacturing and troubleshooting.

    Our facility is a temperature-controlled clean environment with a slightly sweet smell. While loading machines, the scent can be stronger. Please be aware if you have allergies to strong smells.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Somerville, Tennessee.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
