Technical Operator 1 & 2 Openings - 1st & 2nd Shift - $18.75/hr-$23.10/hr
Job Description
Conduct daily production and packaging activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). Work towards achieving assigned production goals and meet unscheduled peaks in workload to ensure timely product release and avoid back orders.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with the Team Leader to discuss critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications.
+ Implement corrective actions for technical problems related to raw materials and finished products.
+ Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
+ Identify and resolve line issues and other production problems, promptly notifying the Team Leader of any required corrective actions.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and all related SOPs.
+ Utilize a computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system to report lot-controlled ingredients on batch records.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in cleanroom procedures and production activities.
+ Strong understanding of GDP and SOP in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to provide detailed examples of SOP usage and adherence.
+ Experience in machine operation and multitasking.
+ Skills in quality assurance, packaging, and inspection.
+ Familiarity with DHR and computer operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least two years of previous assembly/packaging experience.
+ Experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is strongly preferred.
+ Ability to comprehend coagulation-based manufacturing processes.
+ Familiarity with GDP, GMP, GLP, FDA, and ISO standards.
+ Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large ERP systems is preferred.

Work Environment
Multiple openings available with various shifts offering a 10% shift differential. Training is provided for the first four weeks on the designated shift. Adhere to dress code policies, including wearing pants and avoiding makeup. Ear protection is provided due to the loud environment. Flexibility for overtime, including Saturdays, is required. Reliability is crucial to avoid bottlenecks in the process. Access to ear protection and no use of personal devices on the manufacturing floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $23.10/hr.
