    Job Title: Manufacturing/Assembly Operator

    Job Description

    Join our dedicated team as a Soldering Tech where you will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and packaging of medical cables. This position offers a dynamic work schedule on the 1st shift from 5 am to 1:30 pm, with occasional early starts at 4 am and some Saturday shifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform basic manufacturing, assembly, and labeling of cables.

    + Handle packaging and in-process testing of products.

    + Operate basic hand tools and assigned production/manufacturing equipment.

    + Work in a bench-top assembly environment using various manufacturing equipment for prepping, stripping, tinning, crimping, and soldering medical cables.

    + Accurately record process documentation and ensure compliance with all safety requirements.

    + Interpret, read, and follow all work instructions and engineering drawings.

    + Utilize basic measurement skills using hand tools and electronic equipment like rulers, scales, micrometers, and calipers.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in assembly, soldering, and operation of production equipment.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and working in a cleanroom environment.

    + Ability to follow detailed instructions and engineering drawings.

    + Basic computer skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3 to 6 months minimum experience required, with a preference for 2 to 3 years for higher pay range.

    + Soldering experience is essential.

    + Experience in the medical device industry is advantageous.

    The role is based in a manufacturing and assembly line setting, requiring work in a bench-top assembly environment. The work involves using a variety of manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and adherence to cleanroom standards.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Costa Mesa, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
