Immediately Hiring for Lead Technician – Fireplace Installation

**Location:** Urbandale, IA

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

**Employment Type:** Full-Time

**Pay:** $22 - $28/hr.

*Job Overview:

+ We’re looking for a skilled Lead Technician to join our installation team specializing in electric and gas fireplaces. This hands-on role involves tear-outs, retrofitting, and full installations in residential and commercial settings. If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a dynamic work environment, we’d love to hear from you.

*Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform tear-out, retrofitting, and installation of electric and gas fireplaces

+ Work from detailed work orders and adapt to unexpected challenges (example: uneven framing, visible gaps)

+ Safely handle gas lines and electrical hookups

+ Collaborate with a teammate to complete installations efficiently

+ Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site

*Essential Skills:

+ Proficiency in electrical work or carpentry

+ Experience with conduit installation and wiring

+ Ability to install both electric and gas fireplace systems

+ Skilled in using hand and power tools

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

*Qualifications:

+ Experience in construction or related trades

+ Ability to provide basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, screwdriver, pliers)

+ Comfortable working on ladders and in varied environments

+ Valid Drivers License & Reliable transportation

+ Start and end each day at the shop in Urbandale

+ Travel in a company box van/truck to customer sites

+ Dress code includes jeans, closed-toed shoes, and a professional work shirt
