Manufacturing Associate – Level I

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for supporting the production of therapeutic proteins (API) in a cGMP-compliant environment. This entry-level role involves executing process recipes, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitoring equipment and production processes, and performing basic laboratory and sanitization tasks. Associates are expected to demonstrate aseptic technique and begin developing a foundational understanding of cGMP compliance under close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

+ 40% – Production Operations

+ Set up and operate manufacturing equipment.

+ Monitor production processes including Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) procedures.

+ Accurately document production activities in both written and electronic formats in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

+ Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.

+ 20% – Training & Qualification

+ Complete training and attain qualification for all assigned tasks.

+ Maintain an up-to-date individual training plan.

+ 10% – Laboratory Support

+ Perform basic lab tasks such as monitoring pH and conductivity.

+ Collect and test product samples as required.

+ 10% – Material Handling

+ Transfer raw materials and chemicals into, out of, and within production areas.

+ Ensure proper labeling and handling of materials.

+ 10% – Facility & Equipment Maintenance

+ Conduct routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment and production areas.

+ Support 6S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) initiatives to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

+ 10% – Administrative & Team Support

+ Participate in shift exchanges, team meetings, and assigned projects.

+ Communicate effectively via email and other platforms.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
