• Associate Machine Operator

    Adecco is Recruiting for a Machine Operator position for a company located in Utica NY.

    This is a temp to hire opportunity

    **Pay rate:** $17.00 / hr

    Job Description:

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Perform set-ups of mechanical equipment such as Autoline machines, extruders, die cutters, multi-vac, electrode assemblers, rotary dies, tabling machines, printers, etc... to fabricate parts, items, units following detailed instructions, company policies and procedures.

    + Perform testing, quality checks, make adjustments and assist in the repair of machinery, equipment.

    + Complete required paperwork.

    + Operate printers, packaging machines to package, label items, units, etc... for shipment.

    + Perform preventative maintenance, maintain records, logs, lists.

    + Perform other related duties as required by management.

    Work Experience Requirements:

    Over 12 months in a production environment preferred

     

    Ability to stand for up to 8 hours

     

    Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

    Knowledge Requirements:

    + Ability to independently read, understand and carry out written manufacturing procedures and standard work instructions.

    + Ability to interpret basic blueprints, routings, and diagrams including symbols, views, dimensions, written notes, and specifications, along with utilizing tools such as micrometers, rulers, gauges, scales (standard) without assistance.

    + Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages, ratios, and averages to perform routine calculations.

    **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
