    Job Title: Embedded Firmware Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer contractor for a 6-month engagement with the potential for extension up to a year. This role closely aligns with our full-time embedded position and demands a robust experience in C programming and RTOS.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement embedded firmware solutions using C programming.

    + Work within RTOS environments to ensure efficient and reliable system performance.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project scope and requirements.

    + Demonstrate a proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving and project management.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems development (10 years preferred).

    + Expertise in C programming and embedded software development.

    + Solid understanding of RTOS environments.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to identify scope and requirements independently.

    + A strong eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach. The role does not require experience with Linux or higher-level languages.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
