Job Title: Packing - 2ND SHIFT $18/HR
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for preparing machines for shift start-up and product change, operating auxiliary equipment to produce various types and sizes of manufactured products while ensuring quality and production goals are met. You will troubleshoot equipment as needed and be a key player in maintaining production flow.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor and perform operations of processing equipment with minimal supervision.
+ Assist higher-level operators and participate in training lower-level operators.
+ Use measuring equipment to ensure all quality specifications are met.
+ Operate material handling and processing equipment for production and raw material replenishment.
+ Utilize shop floor management systems to update CIP boards.
+ Spot malfunctions in equipment controls and assist with repairs.
+ Communicate with process and tooling technicians for equipment assistance and root cause analysis.
+ Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
+ Check workstations for supply levels and transport materials using handling equipment.
+ Notify supervisor or material handler when supplies reach reorder levels.
+ Identify raw material types and part numbers by reviewing bills of materials.
+ Test and inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
+ Report non-conforming products and perform necessary procedures.
+ Input accurate data into the quality control system.
+ Participate in 6S activities, workshops, meetings, and cross-functional training.
+ Work different shifts and wear assorted PPE as needed.
+ Comply with safety rules and report any injuries or unsafe conditions.
Essential Skills
+ Knowledge of basic reading, writing, and arithmetic.
+ Good manual dexterity skills for working with very small parts.
+ Ability to perform repetitive functions.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Ability to interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
+ Commitment to superior service and quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent, or 6-12 months related experience.
+ Manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in mechanical assembly, repetitive motions, and fast-paced environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
