Job Title: Linux Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator responsible for conducting OS level administration for servers and performing routine maintenance tasks. The role requires writing software automation scripts, developing and deploying software automation, and collaborating with team members to efficiently solve problems. Key responsibilities include maintaining security posture, evaluating IAVMS, patching and updating software, and developing software documentation such as STIG checklists. Additionally, the role involves deploying, STIG/hardening, testing, and auditing software.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct OS level administration for servers and perform normal maintenance tasks.
+ Write software automation scripts and develop and deploy software automation.
+ Solve problems in a time-efficient manner and collaborate with team members to identify solutions.
+ Maintain security posture, evaluate IAVMS, and patch and update software.
+ Develop software documentation such as STIG checklists.
+ Deploy, STIG/harden, test, and audit software.
Essential Skills
+ Certified Linux System Administrator with experience in Linux Red Hat and Ubuntu.
+ Active Red Hat Linux Admin Certificate (preferred) or Ubuntu Linux Admin Certificate.
+ Active CompTIA Security + Certificate.
+ Proficiency in Ansible, software automation, and STIG.
+ Experience with SELinux, AppArmor, and containerization.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with the application of DoD STIGs.
+ Experience using SELinux or AppArmor tools.
+ Experience with containerization.
+ Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
Work Environment
The position is based primarily on-site in Warren, MI, with the opportunity to work both independently and cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires a collaborative approach and effective communication within a dynamic team environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67.31 - $81.73/hr.
