Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer (MEP) with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our growing team. This Associate-level role will support the Principal Engineer in designing and executing electrical systems for a variety of commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure successful project execution.
+ Prepare electrical drawings, calculations, sketches, and specifications.
+ Conduct electrical studies including short circuit analysis and fault current calculations.
+ Perform site visits to gather operational data and assess existing equipment.
+ Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office to develop deliverables.
+ Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).
+ Manage tasks efficiently with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
+ Contribute to a fast-paced, diverse team environment with clear and effective communication.
+ Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and stay current with emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
+ Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
+ Ability to obtain NCEES registration.
+ 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction or consulting.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong understanding of electrical design principles and construction practices.
+ Familiarity with NEC and other relevant codes and standards.
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.
+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
+ Prior involvement in commercial and residential project design.
+ Exposure to electrical modeling and simulation tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/hr.
