Hiring a Quality Control Analyst III for a great company in Vacaville, CA! Must be local to the area and have experience with troubleshooting and analytical methods.

Role Summary

The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing biochemical, physical, and chemical evaluations of process development, lot release, and stability samples in compliance with cGMP guidelines. This role requires strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on mastered assays. Analysts are expected to maintain an inspection-ready laboratory environment and demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform biochemical, physical, and chemical analyses of samples under cGMP conditions.

+ Review test data for accuracy, integrity, and conformance to specifications.

+ Troubleshoot test methods and support investigations (OOS/OOE/OOT).

+ Initiate and author deviations and laboratory investigations.

+ Maintain laboratory readiness for audits and inspections.

+ Train peers on test methods and procedures.

+ Author and revise SOPs, batch records, and change control documentation.

+ Manage reagent and equipment inventory.

+ Sample and test incoming raw materials.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong working knowledge of cGMP, 21CFR 210 & 211, USP, EP, and ICH guidelines.

+ Ability to follow written instructions and work with minimal supervision.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other organizational tools.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Experience with analytical instruments and routine maintenance.

+ Familiarity with protein analytics, SDS-PAGE, HPLC, subvisible particle testing (USP <788>), and CCIT is preferred.

+ Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds and perform tasks requiring close vision and depth perception.

Education & Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field.

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant laboratory experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
