Job Title: Packaging Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Technician who will play a crucial role in our packaging operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and accurate packaging processes, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

+ Complete training modules regarding gowning techniques for entrance to and from designated areas.

+ Oversee packaging operations on packaging lines, including assembly, disassembly, preparation, and adjustments of labeling and packaging machinery.

+ Visually inspect labels and packaging of finished goods to ensure they meet specifications.

+ Manually label and package finished goods according to specifications when automated machinery is unavailable.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and organize batch records, forms, documents, and logbooks for responsible areas.

+ Properly label and dispose of hazardous waste from the packaging floor.

+ Assist other team members in manufacturing areas as needed.

+ Maintain good workplace organization and housekeeping of tools and inspection/packaging machines.

+ Adhere to applicable SOPs, GMP, and ISO rules and regulations related to the position.

+ Perform any and all other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in packaging, assembly, and labeling processes.

+ Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school graduate or equivalent.

+ No prior experience necessary, but experience in the pharmaceutical industry is helpful.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
