    DHI Communities is a multifamily development division of D.R. Horton, Inc.

     

    DHI Communities is currently looking for a*_BTR-Disposition Analyst_*. The right candidate willparticipate in the monetization of Build-To-Rent (BTR) investments and provide analytical support and assistance to the Managing Director and Director of Dispositions.

     

    *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    * Participate in the development of disposition strategies for BTR investments

    * Determine optimal sell timing to maximize value and accurately forecast quarterly sales goals

    * Review broker opinion of values to ensure accuracy of the pro forma and projected valuation for BTR investments prior to a marketing launch

    * Present well-supported arguments for or against specific investment opportunities

    * Participate in the disposition process including broker selection, integrity/accuracy of offering materials, marketing process and closing

    * Assist in gathering and reviewing due diligence materials in the data room that is shared with potential buyers during the due-diligence process

    * Maintain a disposition summary and monthly dashboard for all BTR projects including name, division, location, projected valuation and sale timing for internal forecasting and reporting

    * Maintain a disposition tracker showing launch date, broker, expected offer date and closing date for all BTR dispositions

    * Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

    * Analyze the overall market and monitor industry trends to identify or what will impact dispositions

    * Ability to travel overnight

    *Required Qualifications*

    * Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Economics or related field

    * 1 to 3 years of commercial real estate, private equity, or investment banking

    * Knowledge of advanced Excel financial modeling, formulas and functions including pivot tables, and conditional formatting

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to summarize conclusions

    * Ability to deliver effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences

    * Highly organized and able to focus under pressure while balancing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy

    * Goal oriented, self-starter that takes initiative to effect change with continuous improvement in multifamily underwriting process

    * Proficiency with MS Office and email

    *Preferred Qualifications*

    * Experience in real estate disposition and single-family rental investments is a plus
