Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $116,500.00 - $139,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to help plan, execute, research, and drive current and future products and projects across multiple Consumer Lines of Business. This position will also serve as a business and systems resource to help with implementing technical solutions to meet product line needs.
Essential Functions
+ Analyze, evaluate and recommend on new and existing business opportunities quickly and accurately, helping the bank react quickly to market demand
+ Collaborate effectively with Third Party Vendors, designers, other lines of business, developers, Quality Assurance, and product management peers to create deliverables to meet product objectives. Work with the various Legal, Risk, and Compliance areas to manage customer communications, disclosures, e-schedules, and product operational support for lending products for all the lines of business.
+ Understand business goals as well as client research and data to create hypothesis and define requirements for solving client pain points and monitor actual performance in comparison to established business plans and budgets for assigned projects and product
+ Assist with improvement initiatives and ensures and measures that these initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and realizes business objectives and goals
+ Support budget management, planning and expenditure
+ Assist in the management and growth of Retail Fee Income
+ Represent multiple groups to deliver on the operational, documentation, communication and training components to deliver on the various campaigns
+ Assist in the development of new deposit and fee income products, and maintain segment driven value propositions and provide support, consultation, and recommendations to resolving technical problems impacting product line
+ Assist on projects during analysis, design, construction, testing and production phases
+ Review designs with management, users, and developers. Coordinate pilot and rollout planning.
+ Research the marketplace for new product functionality and requirements
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
+ Expertise in financial services product management, developing market strategy for consumer product, customer segmentation, and developing solutions
+ Thorough knowledge of the systems development lifecycle with experience with Core Banking Platforms and related applications, relational databases, systems administration, and familiarity with Business Objects, Access, or other reporting development tools
+ Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business
+ Understanding of product profitability, pricing, etc.
+ Ability to quickly grasp, interpret, evaluate, and summarize large amounts of data into meaningful presentations
+ High-energy, “can do" style that thrives in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to take on new projects/roles and to contribute to the team's success in a variety of capacities.
+ Ability to communicate regularly at senior and executive level status, technical information/concepts to non-technical audiences and business terminology and needs to technical staff
+ Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
+ Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 5+ years in retail banking experience required
+ 3+ years’ experience in product management, preferably having experience with consumer-facing products in the banking industry, including product development and working in many areas of the product lifecycle required
+ Experience working in an Agile/Scrum project team preferred
+ A general understanding of banking regulations preferred

This compensation range is for the Senior Systems & Product Manager - Commercial job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $116,500 to $139,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
