    Job Title: Data Entry/Accounting Clerk (entry-level)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in utilizing tools such as Excel!

    Responsibilities

    + Manual-entry of Accounts Payable invoices

    + Data Entry, Organization, Cross-referencing, Scanning Copying and Retrieval

    + Checked Incoming Invoices and Making copies before distributing

    + Creating & updating records with new files & information

    + Storing all paperwork, invoices alphabetically in designated places securing the important documents

    + Managing vendor issues and maintaining updated vendor files

    Essential Skills

    + Basic accounting knowledge

    + Proficiency in Excel, particularly with pivot tables.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The position follows an onsite work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Rutherford, New Jersey.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
