Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager

Position Overview:

System One is working with a local client in the Tulsa Metro who is seeking a versatile and proactive Civil Engineering Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who is eager to contribute to the expansion of the firm through both technical excellence and strategic business development.

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while effectively managing engineering projects from inception to completion. Your ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering high-quality work that meets our client's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, client engagement, and market research to drive company growth.

+ Proposal Preparation: Prepare compelling proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new projects while showcasing the firm's capabilities.

+ Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

+ Engineering Excellence: Perform key engineering tasks including design, analysis, and technical problem-solving to ensure project success.

+ Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and consultants, to foster collaboration and efficiency.

+ Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and satisfaction.

+ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

+ Project Performance Monitoring: Track project performance metrics, budget adherence, and deliverables, providing regular updates to company leadership.

+ Strategic Input: Contribute to shaping company strategies and operational improvements to enhance growth and service delivery.

Qualifications:

+ Education: Bachelor’s (B.S.) or Master’s (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

+ Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of both project execution and business development.

+ Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain one.

+ Skills:

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.

+ Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic small-business environment.

+ Proficiency in engineering and project management software tools.
