As a Nutrition Assistant, you'll be involved in:

+ **Nourishing Patients & Guests:** Playing a key role in preparing, portioning, and serving delicious and aesthetically pleasing meals according to menu and dietary guidelines.

+ **Ensuring Safety:** Adhering strictly to healthcare food service standards, including temperature monitoring, cross-contamination prevention, proper hygiene, and maintaining clear labeling and storage.

+ **Customer Experience Champion:** Providing excellent customer service, understanding recipe ingredients to answer allergy questions, and ensuring a positive meal experience.

+ **Dynamic Responsibilities:** Potentially assisting with a variety of tasks such as:

+ Cashiering and retail service

+ Assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays

+ Cold food preparation

+ Dishwashing and equipment maintenance

+ Catering support

+ Inventory assistance

+ General cleaning to maintain a pristine environment.

Job Requirements

**Barista Experience Highly Desired**

Education/Work Experience Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensure/Certification

+ Current (within the past 12 months) ServSafe® Allergen and Food Service Handler Certifications. If not currently certified, certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

+ Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire date.

Pay Range

$21.84 - $31.14 /hour
