    Instrument & Common Reference Data is a center of excellence providing securities reference data to multiple lines of business across J.P. Morgan. Within Data Solutions, the Instrument Reference Data Operations team delivers high-quality reference data to its subscribers from major external market providers under a single operating model. Instrument attributes are sourced, validated, mastered, and distributed via J.P. Morgan's strategic Reference Data architecture, supporting trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting.

     

    As a Instrument and Common Reference Data Vice President within Data Solutions, you will ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data for internal customers and collaborate with technology and operations teams to drive innovative solutions, including the use of artificial intelligence and process improvements. This role is integral to the success of our security services organization.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Daily validation in firm's strategic reference data application to ensure quality of data.

    + Work with data vendor's and technology team to resolve data issues and improve quality of data

    + Complete all daily and monthly tasks within deadline.

    + Resolve client queries promptly, professionally, and respectfully.

    + Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and help drive products and solutions that meet diverse client needs.

    Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    + Experience in Fixed Income, Fund Valuation, or related financial roles

    + Strong understanding of bonds, financial markets, and products

    + Knowledge of corporate actions, index benchmarking, stock markets, and fixed income products

    + Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups)

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

    + Self-motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines under pressure

    + Effective communicator and collaborator within team environments

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

    + Experience with market data vendors such as Bloomberg or Reuters is a plus

    + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

    + Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning tools
