    RN Supervisor

     

    Jupiter Rehab is in search of a capable, hard working and talented RN Weekend Supervisor to join our ever growing team.

Our stellar rehabilitation program significantly enriches the health and well-being of our patients by delivering specialized therapies to get our patients rapidly back on their feet.

    Responsibilities Include:

    + Guides and directs and supervises the activities of the nursing team of LPNs and CNAs.

    + Shares responsibilities for conducting admission assessments, MDS and care plans with the Nurse Manager and the other staff nurses.

    + Reviews, modifies as needed, patients’ care plans in collaboration with patient, family/designated representative and the interdisciplinary team.

    + Attends care planning and discharge planning review meetings. Provides patient/family education during stay and to prepare for discharge. Ensure that the rooms/beds assigned to new admissions, In-house transfer are ready to accept the patient.

    + Conducts daily rounds with the Nurse Managers. Communicates and report relevant and significant patient related information or changes in condition to the Physician, Nurse Practitioner and Administrative Nurse Manager.

    + Responds appropriately to patient care emergencies, provides guidance and direction to other caregivers in managing emergency events.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    + Must have a current and active license in the State of Florida

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in the LTC industry

    + At least 1-2 year experience as a Shift Supervisor or Manager a plus

    + Must be able to effectively asses and evaluate patients/residents during the admission, transfer and discharge process

    + Must have some knowledge of State and federal regulations and the application of facility protocols

    + Must live within 15-25 miles of the facility

    Hours:

    + Every weekend 7 am - 7 pm
