Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is currently seeking a **Security Manager** **1** to join our team in Hollywood, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Special Access Programs (SAP) programs
+ Interfaces with all levels of government, corporate, and business area leadership on Security manners involving employees, programs, facilities, and operations in a manner which balances compliance with customer service
+ Ensures adherence to policies, practices, and procedures of the 32 CFR Part 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM), SAP manuals, NISP, ICDs as well as other applicable government or customer contractual regulatory guidance and directives
+ Leads internal Security audits, self-inspections and prepares corrective action plans
+ Oversees local implementation and directly participates in enterprise established processes including classified programs, security education/training/and awareness, workplace violence prevention, security investigations/insider threat, and contingency planning with crisis management and business resiliency
+ Collaborates across various levels of Security organizations to maintain consistent achievement of milestones and deliverables
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant Industrial Security experience; may substitute relevant experience in lieu of degree
+ Experience conducting emergency exercises in an industrial setting
+ Experience using mass notification systems
+ DoD Certifications
+ Active DoD TOP SECRET Clearance with ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) access
+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers
+ Excellent communication, writing and organization skills
+ Working knowledge with Microsoft Office (365, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
+ Working knowledge of the following standards/documents; 32 CFR part 117, SAP Manual, NISP, ICDs
+ Expertise managing Industrial Security programs
+ Self-starter with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight
+ Experience with Physical Security requirements and knowledge of ICD-705
+ Manages and leads the local site Security Officers
+ Investigates security incidents/violations and reports specifying corrective and preventive actions to be taken
+ Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations
+ Comfortable with providing security education briefing and program indoctrinations
Primary Level Salary Range: $97,600.00 - $146,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
