    Position Overview:

    We are looking for entry level Project Engineers who are passionate about hands-on learning. Whether you are interested in ICT/SEC/AV Design. Your title will be Project Engineer within the company. With guidance and mentorship from senior engineers, you will develop project management skills. It is a hands-on role that offers an opportunity to be a part of a growing, industry-leading team: successful candidates will be self-motivated and proactive.

     

    This role is a career development position; you will conduct work assignments of increasing complexity and contribute to team objectives and outcomes. The role includes the design of various IT/AV/SEC systems in multiple vertical markets using the latest AutoCAD and BIM platforms. The responsibilities include gathering requirements, creating the design, and ensuring the design is implemented as intended.

    Role Responsibilities:

    As an entry-level Design Engineer, you will be involved with assisting with projects. In your role, you will:

     

    + Design and coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines of, but not limited to computer rooms, MDF/IDF distribution, horizontal cable plant design, multi-floor riser planning and design

    + Prepare Information Technology Infrastructure documentation and RFP packages

    + Work with the team to develop drawings, specifications, and system schematics inclusive of low voltage racks/cabinets, equipment elevations, cable termination details, cable routing, and distribution pathways, UPS equipment and mechanical systems coordination, and technology room layouts using AutoCAD and Revit

    **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; EIT preferred

    Experience:

    + Applied knowledge of AutoCAD required; Revit preferred

    + Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

    + Relevant internship experience a plus
