CNC Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Monday – Friday | 4:30 PM – 5:00 AM

Your Role:
You’ll take ownership of progressive machining operations, working independently while focusing on accurate and efficient machine setup. You’ll tackle machining challenges, contribute to continuous process improvements, and play an integral role in delivering top-quality parts. What You'll Do:
+ Plan or verify operation to be performed and material to be used.
+ Set up all tooling with appropriate stops, clamps, and fixtures.
+ Set up and operate CNC, lathe &/or vertical machine tools to make parts per engineering specifications.
+ Load material into machine utilizing overhead crane and secure to ensure safe machining on forgings that can exceed 100,000lbs using various lifting apparatus.
+ Calculate chain and strap adjustments to ensure the safe lifting and transporting of parts.
+ Monitor run to ensure parts are being produced to specification.
+ Use measuring devices and blueprints/engineering drawings to inspect parts for tolerance.
+ Visually inspect surface for appearance and non-conformities which may require repair.
+ Complete the required documentation and reports at the completion of the job.
+ Critically evaluate and contribute to improving the manufacturing process.
+ Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenance
+ Deburr parts when necessary
+ Ability to run more than one machine maintaining run times as required
+ Provide guidance or training for less skilled machinists.
What we're looking for:
+ The ideal candidate will have an impressive attendance record and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Basic math and Blueprint reading
+ Prior machining experience (a plus)
+ Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship.
+ Basic computer skills

This position involves working in production areas with forklifts, overhead cranes, and related equipment. Employees may be exposed to high heat, outdoor weather, wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, or hazardous chemicals, as well as loud noise.
