UPMC Shadyside is looking for an Imaging Services Student Tech to support our Radiology Diagnostic Department. What You'll Do

+ Perform imaging procedures under the supervision of a registered technologist

+ Learn to use advanced imaging equipment for acquisition and analysis of image data

+ Assist with patient positioning, exam setup, and contrast preparation (under supervision)

+ Support daily equipment checks, quality control, and safety protocols

+ Manage exam scheduling, arrival, and documentation in Radiology Information Systems

+ Maintain clinical proficiency by completing competencies and equipment training

+ Must be an active 2nd year student in ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, or NMCTB approved school.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
