PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and achieve production targets.
+ Coordinate with production teams to ensure seamless workflows and address scheduling conflicts.
+ Adjust production schedules to accommodate changing priorities, holidays, environmental constraints, or unexpected disruptions.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery rates and inventory accuracy, to assess and improve scheduling effectiveness.
+ Utilize MRP tools such as Oracle and Omega to generate and analyze production plans and material requirements.
+ Maintain and update data in the ERP system, including dates and lead times, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ERP system to maintain operational efficiency.
+ Generate detailed reports and analyze data using tools like Power BI or Excel to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
+ Create, issue, review, and close work orders in the ERP system.
+ Ensure accurate documentation of materials and labor for all work orders.
+ Monitor work order progress to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
+ Foster effective communication with internal teams, external organizations, and customers via meetings, emails, and other communication channels.
+ Coordinate with engineering and production teams to schedule and expedite custom parts.
+ Establish and communicate shipping dates for customer orders.
+ Lead or actively participate in daily/weekly production meetings to align schedules and address challenges.
+ Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in materials and production planning.
+ Apply lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 9001 or OSHA guidelines.
+ Adhere to all HSE and Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
+ Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
+ 2-5 years of experience in production planning, materials management, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle, Omega) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address planning and scheduling challenges.
+ Experience with additional tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL for reporting and analytics is preferred.
