Job Description
The Office Manager plays a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly, balancing day-to-day operations with long-term efficiency goals. This position ensures the office delivers excellent patient care while staying compliant with healthcare standards. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to support staff, maintain accurate records, and keep workflows on track.
+ Supervise and train office assistants, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality customer service
+ Develop and implement office policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity
+ Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and patient care
+ Oversee the maintenance of electronic medical records and patient charts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
+ Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve issues
+ Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and equipment
+ Prepare reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
+ Handle escalated patient inquiries and complaints, striving for satisfactory resolution
+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum of two years of experience in a medical front office role, with supervisory experience preferred
+ Exceptional leadership and communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with medical software preferred
+ Flexible availability with a willingness to adapt to changing schedules
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Excellent time management and organizational abilities
+ A collaborative team player with a positive and energetic attitude focused on delivering outstanding customer service
