CACI is currently recruiting a Systems Engineer to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA to support our customer, Product Manager Force Protection Systems. We are responsible for developing, acquiring, and maintaining various security and surveillance systems used by the U.S. military. These systems include perimeter security, installation entry systems, and other technologies that enhance intelligence gathering, target acquisition, and force protection capabilities for U.S. warfighters around the world.
Ultimately, the goal is to provide warfighters with cutting-edge force protection and physical security equipment that enhances their ability to detect threats and operate safely in challenging environments across various global regions.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide systems engineering expertise to analyze system concepts, system design and interoperability, providing input to, and analysis of, system architectures for the includes participation in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (such as System Functional Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, etc.) as well as assist in defining appropriate Entrance and Exit criteria for those reviews.
+ Assist the Government with creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation to include, but not limited to, program plans, acquisition documentation, specifications, manuals, field bulletins, technical guides, and memos.
+ Evaluate, define, analyze, and recommend strategies and potential systems to meet force protection threats and integration of emerging technology to augment systems under development.
+ Analyze program technical products (Drawing, Reports, Specifications).
+ Coordinate program office activities relating to systems engineering with external stakeholders.
+ Provide technical advice on integration of emerging capabilities into PM FPS systems.
+ Receive and review draft requirements documents (e.g., IDS, CDD, CPD, etc.) from the Combat Developer, assess feasibility of user requirements, review and refine failure definition and scoring criteria for reliability, and provide feedback.
+ Support the review and analysis of engineering change proposals and value engineering change proposals.
Required Qualifications:
+ Configuration Management and Engineering Change Proposal support experience for current PM FPS Programs of Record (PoRs) and Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) pr.
+ Engineering support experience for the current PM FPS PoRs and QRCs.
+ Active Secret clearance
+ Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering or a related discipline required.
+ 5+ years of applicable systems engineering experience, preferably in a
+ DoD acquisition program office or similar organization experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,200
