Hotel General Manager
Position Overview:
PMG Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations. This role is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, team performance, and financial viability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a background in sales and marketing, and a proven ability to drive performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee all hotel departments including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
Financial Management
Manage hotel budgets, control expenses, and ensure revenue generation and profitability.
Sales & Marketing
Develop and execute sales strategies in partnership with the Area Director of Sales & Marketing to increase occupancy and revenue.
Guest Relations
Ensure exceptional guest experiences and respond effectively to guest concerns or issues.
Team Leadership
Hire, train, and motivate staff to foster a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement business and financial plans. Monitor hotel performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Marriott experience required. Minimum of 5 years in a hotel management role.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, financial, and sales/marketing abilities.
