    JOB SUMMARY

    The HQ Fellowship Program

     

    The Marriott International HQ Fellowship Program offers undergraduate internships in a variety of departments at  **Marriott International’s Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland** . For summer 2026, the HQ Fellowship Program will be from June 1 – August 7, 2026.

     

    During Marriott International’s HQ Fellowship program, Fellows will put their education to work and gain an enriching and memorable learning experience.

     

    The hourly pay rate for this position is $34.00.

    HQ Fellowship Experience

    Fellows will be immersed into an innovative learning environment where they can build skills and gain exposure to the exciting world of hospitality, through:

    + Meaningful, high priority projects

    + Collaboration and networking within your cohort of HQ Fellows

    + Meet and network with Marriott leaders through the Leadership Speaker Series

    + Department-specific activities

    + Program-specific events to learn more about Marriott International’s business

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Must be available to start on the cohort start date:  June 1, 2026

    + Must be available to attend orientation in-person at Marriott’s HQ located in Bethesda, Maryland on June 1-3, 2026.

    + Candidate must be currently enrolled in a graduate-level degree program at the start of the program and returning to their degree program in fall 2026.

    Preferred Skills & Attributes

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    + Ability to work in group settings and/or independently

    + Ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects

    + Demonstrates problem-solving skills

    + Demonstrates creativity and innovation

    + Previous work/volunteer experience or relevant coursework in identified area(s) of interest

     

    Responsibilities & Requirements

     

    Follow all company and safety & security policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Actively listen and respond positively to customer or client questions, concerns, and requests to resolve issues, delight and build trust. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees.  Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors/Managers.
