    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Needs some knowledge of safe handling of deliveries that contain chemicals.

    + Able to differentiate between GMP and Non-GMP shipments

    + Maintain accurate inventory/stocking and order of all medical scrubs and Lab coats for site researchers.

    + Perform functions in the mailroom and add to Daily Activity Report

    + Ship/Receive/Scan UPS / Fedex packages via PacShip Package Tracking System

    + Deliver Mail / accountable mail and packages

    + Monitor conference rooms to ensure room is organized / set up and ready for each user and an adequate inventory of office supplies are on hand.

    + Proper monitoring and handling of temperature-controlled shipments/deliveries.

    + Relocate shredder bins as necessary.

    + Maintains the ancillary warehouse where researchers store laboratory consumables as well as laboratory equipment keeping an inventory of the contents.

    + Reports issues and status updates to Manager

    + Certified in the operation of a forklift for the warehouse.

    + Proper business causal attire

    + Performs other duties as assigned by the site facility manager and the site assistant facility manager.

    + Maintains a clean work area

    + Must maintain good Customer Service Skills.

    + Knowledge of shipping modes such as FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Minimum of 1-2 Mail services related experience preferred with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures.

    + Excellent customer service skills; must possess a "can do" attitude.

    + Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

    + Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.

    + Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.

    + Ability to handle mail or hand cart, as well as flatbed.

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Knowledge of using UPS, FedEx, DHL shipping methods.

    + Assertive and resourceful; self motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative be able to communicate clearly.

    + Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.
