    About the Role

     

    As a **CBRE Maintenance Technician** , you’ll play a key role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and cleanliness of two commercial properties, with time split approximately **60/40 between two locations** . This role involves a mix of **mechanical systems maintenance** , **HVAC preventive care** , **janitorial duties** , and **inventory management** . You’ll be part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, supporting building operations through hands-on work, system checks, and customer service.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.

    + Conduct life safety system checks and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

    + Maintain landscaping and lawn care at designated locations.

    + Carry out janitorial duties such as restroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, restocking consumables, and break room/kitchen upkeep.

    + Manage inventory of janitorial supplies, coffee, and other consumables.

    + Use the CMMS system to assign work orders, build schedules, and track task completion.

    + Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

    + Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.

    + Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and building occupants.

    + Follow defined procedures and safety standards under supervision.

    What You’ll Need

    + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

    + Ability to meet physical demands including lifting 50+ lbs, climbing ladders, and standing/walking for extended periods.

    + Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.

    + Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    + Strong organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
