About the Role:
As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and functionality of the building. You will be the primary contact for various repairs and preventive maintenance, including tasks like drywall and door adjustments, minor plumbing, and upkeep on security systems and entry gates. This is an ideal position for a hands-on individual with a background in general carpentry or home repair.
What You'll Do:
+ Conducting routine maintenance inspections, diagnosing potential problems, and making necessary repairs, including drywall, door repairs, and adjustments.
+ Performing monthly PMs on things like refrigerator units, fire extinguishers, and other building equipment.
+ Handling minor plumbing issues and repairs.
+ Maintaining the site's entry gates and making minor adjustments to card readers and security doors, including system resets.
+ Leading by example and modeling behaviors that are consistent with company values.
+ Working within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Exchanging straightforward information, asking questions, and checking for understanding with team members and building occupants.
What You'll Need:
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
