Job overview and responsibilities
Sales has several intern opportunities available in a variety of disciplines. Successful candidates will be placed in an opening that aligns with their interests. Intern position will enjoy a hybrid work environment.
This internship is designed solely to provide you with skill development and valuable work experience. This role will likely not convert to a full-time position at United at the conclusion of the internship.
Sales Strategy & Pricing
This role provides strategic & analytical support to our Sales team and United’s broader Commercial leadership team. Responsibilities may include developing analytic tools, reports, and processes that provide higher-quality insights, evaluate potential new designs of corporate and agency programs, analyzing booking, ticketing, revenue, and other data to assess Sales program performance, and provide analytical support. This role is not a customer-facing Sales role.
The Sales Strategy & Pricing intern will have the opportunity to learn - and help shape - how United approaches Business to Business commercial arrangements in today’s rapidly changing landscape. The person in this role may collaborate with departments outside Sales, including Marketing, Loyalty, Revenue Management, Network, Financial Planning & Analytics, and more.
Qualifications
Required
Required
+ Graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
+ Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in analytical research-oriented majors like Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, or Business
+ Proficient in Excel
+ Familiarity with coding (SQL, Python, R, are most preferred but any language is a plus) for data extraction and analysis
+ Familiarity with data visualization tools like PowerBI
+ Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
+ Ability to review complex information and make recommendation
Preferred
+ Presentation skills – comfort with presenting in-person and virtually in front of large groups, including leadership
+ Ability to learn new systems quickly
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once

The starting rate for this role is $20.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
